Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.copthornechasers.co.uk.

What data we collect

Copthorne Chasers collect member names, addresses, next of kin, and medical condition data.

Who we share your data with

Your data is accessible by the club’s run leaders for use in the event of an emergency. In the event that you are seriously injured or incapacitated, we will attempt to contact your next of kin using the details provided and inform the ambulance or hospital services of your details.

How long we retain your data

Your data will be retained for the shorter period of time of either the club’s annual member review process or until you make a request to stop processing your data.

What rights you have over your data

If you have provided your details to the club, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Personally identifiable Member Data is not sent from Copthorne Chasers to any other service. Non-identifying information may be used for the purposes of reporting anonymous, general membership statistics (for example we may analyse a list of member postcodes to understand where the club’s membership generally resides)
